I think mine are paper or whatever I don't think they're plastic. I want to get a silicone tea sleeve though sometime.

Black bean soup. I mixed about 3 recipes together I added some salsa in it too about 4 TBS just to give it good flavor. I added carrots, corn, and vegan meat crumbles just because it'll add flavor. Carrots add sweetness and corn does too.

I used these onions that are sweet and tearless. I found them at the grocery store so it should be interesting to see what they taste like in the soup and raw on top when it's done.

I have a stainless tea ball, but I just used it when I made koumbacha

Yeah mine are paper then. I usually get Celestial tea. I found this tea steeper that's a beaver and it hangs off the mug it's the cutest thing ever.

@CSAchook I forgot to tell you I just looked in the roach tank and we have LOTS of babies!

I guess what we are doing works.

The only issue I'm having is they're not really eating their roach feed. They are just eating the blue gel that's their water substitute and I don't really see them eating much of the roach feed, but maybe they are.

I was thinking about putting some grapes in there for them today.

Silicone is plastic also. What are the leachates from that?

Leaning towards the stainless, but I'd miss the paper flavor. I tried the teavana stuff and it reminded me of a Japanese tea ceremony. A whole lot of steps just to drink tea.

I never knew tea came in plastic bags. But then again I usually just buy the cheap grocery store kind and paper is probably cheaper for them.
