Or he could be a little washed out from the sun. That can happen in dogs. The coat turns reddish brown. Bleaching from the sun ahah

That's the father of most of those chicks. I got him last year in the spring. That barred chick is black jersey giant and barred rock.

A couple of DH's uncles caught a crow when they were in their teens. They taught it to talk and became local legends. Years and years later when he went to the same small-town school, his teachers would greet him at the start of a new term with, "Oh, you must be related to those "S" boys with the talking crow!" Made quite an impression, that bird did.
