No, I can't take anymore scalpings. Plus I'd rather stick with the chickens & enjoy my rotten turkey poults! I'm still working on my Bobs new pen too, I love listening to their chatter & tunes...

Your experience has changed my mind on them honestly, but I love my chickens and ducks. I'm might get poults soon because we want a Thanksgiving turkey.

I love all my birds & ducks too, maybe I just had bad luck with scalpers, it wasn't them all, just certain ones. I do still want a couple Buttons though for in the house as pets though.
 
I checked my duck eggs yesterday and 5 were no good. 4 clears and 1 blood ring. The others all looked good. Doing an experiment... 12 I'm not spraying or cooling. The others are all getting sprayed and cooled daily. I'm going to see which ones hatch better. I marked all the ones I'm not spraying so I don't accidentally grab them by mistake and ruin what I'm trying to find out.

My 3 chicken eggs look good, no idea what's going to pop out but I'll find out March 5th
