I have one chicken recovering from a hen turkey that took offense. I put down one yesterday that a jake took offense to. I have had a couple chickens in the past I had to put down from jake abuse

Red pepper in the feed is a not yet studied method of blackhead preventative. I add 1/4 cup to 2 gallons of feed. I feed fermented feed. Not sure if blkhead is in my area so I can only say I never had it.

Does the red pepper get a bit expensive having to use that much? And is that an everyday regimen?

I use it every day, but others have said a couple times a week.
I was getting 25 lbs for 50, plus shipping, but just this month it's gone up to 69... not sure if it's chill season or if it's from China.
I use 75 to 100 lbs a year. I was waiting for a dry stretch to order and now it's gone up 20 dollars

Cayenne pepper is what is recommended. Some people swear by it.

My mum is addicted to Starbucks but coffee makes me sick. I ordered a white hot chocolate the other day and it tasted like sweetened sewage water.
I don't know why I bother with anything besides tea.

I don't care for Starbucks--too expensive, too bitter. Caffeine however is my friend. And to think, I spent most of my life without it.

Coffee Banty. I had to drink coffee and it was horrible Snd I don’t have any chickens so double
