➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

When I was in my early 20s I started drinking coffee for a while. I was drinking about 2 cups a day and my heart started to skip beats. I quit drinking coffee. I drink it once in a while now, but not very often.
I'll try one real tea too...on Friday.
Then I'll decide which team to join or if I should remain on my own faker team.

It's for people who want to be tired AND hate their choices in life.

Bleh. It's also kinda addictive and difficult to stop depending on it once you've made it a daily routine.
It makes my heart go haywire so I avoid it for obvious reasons.
I worked with a girl, oh many decades ago. She loved to have us hook her up to the heart monitors and drink a cup of coffee. She would instantly go into a-fib. After the first time I did not participate in this experiment. Some people are very sensitive to caffeine and should not have it. I ought to have mentioned this. Sorry.

I don't crave coffee. I drink it as a medication. If I forget, I might go all day and not notice, or I might get depressed or overly silent and realize I forgot my coffee. But yes, you can sure get addicted if you're susceptible to it. It's been a positive thing for me, though.

Coffee. Yes, go buy regular coffee. It improves mood (as long as you don't overdo it), is a reasonably strong bronchodilator, is full of antioxidants, helps you talk if you're an introvert and yes, peps you right up. I actually don't like the taste of coffee, but I'm a big fan of caffeine. I drink it black. All those fru-fru coffee drinks fluff you right up. One million calories! For reals!
I have one cup of black coffee the first thing in the morning along with one muffin. The coffee helps open up my airways making it easier for me to breathe.

Honest question here. Does tea make anyone else nauseous? I can't drink tea at all. It makes me sick to my stomach, especially green tea. Even smelling green tea makes the bile rise.

Coffee is amazing. Not espresso, though. That stuff makes me twitchy, and sweaty.
I'll chug tea by the gallon when I'm sick, but that's the only time. I don't dislike it, I just don't fancy going out of my way to make it when I could have coffee instead.

Some of the more acidic teas upset my stomach, but doesn't make me nauseous at all. I guess it really shows how different people are. :)

My mom and the man are both tea drinkers. Both love earl gray. I love the smell of it more than any other tea. I can take a couple sips if there is milk or cream in it, but that's it. It's delicious, and I wish I could enjoy it more.
