➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

They will be your geese. I have named them all Bob, so you can easily remember their names.
It doesn't work that way. The woman who was here the last few days getting trees, plants and miscellaneous wire for free also wants geese.

Besides, I refuse to name any of my poultry.

Tell her I named them Bobs for her.

Gorgeous. Are the father and son sweetgrass?

When is the best time to visit so I can be assured a turkey poult or two?
I currently only have 3 hens that are for sure laying. Only one of those hens has been known to have been bred. I did see the first confirmed breeding of a Sweetgrass hen yesterday. I do not know if she has started laying yet.

I will probably set some turkey eggs next weekend.

October is usually when I have poults that have been grown out to determine which ones I am going to keep. It is also when I am selling sexed poults.

It also happens to be the time that I am harvesting honey if any is available to be harvested.
