I know, but the factory eggs hatch for some folks. Clearly roosters sneak in more often than one might suppose. I guess there are so many birds around it's probably not worth the trouble to wade in there and try to corral 'em?

What disturbs me is the lack of grass in most of the pictures. Or specifically, the lack of forage. Grass is not the preferred forage. Herbs and other yummies are. This comes from the experts in the backyard.
Be careful what you believe from many of the so called "backyard experts" and their belief in herbs for poultry.

I had an idiot rooster that not only tried the rhubarb leaves but kept going back for more.
