In the guineas' defense, the run was slapdash and temporary. I just needed something to keep the birds in and the hawks out.
I am never working with netting overhead again if I can help it.

Tension wire, zip ties, and deer fencing instead of bird netting.

So looking back at your photos...you have two cows and one calf? If so, Poppy is either a steer or a bull if not banded based on his his navel/sheath.

We have a cattle ranch with over 100 cows, 38 spring calves, 8 bulls and 21 replacement heifers. Our herd is mostly Angus. Part of the herd back in February.View attachment 2637202
