The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Also @KF0002 this isn’t from Bath & Body Works or anything but I just bought a mango goats milk soap bar from a local discount type store that has food, pet supplies, some craft stuff, clothes, EVERYTHING LOL (Ocean State Job Lot. New England chain.) anyways, it was only $1.99!!!!!!! I couldn’t pass that up LOL they had lavender and maybe like 3 or 4 other scents as well but I thought the mango sounded intriguing. LOL

Dark meat is nastyyyyy 😭🤣🤢🤮
We definitely prefer white meat. My family will eat drumsticks and thighs fried or on the grill when we butcher broilers. Those are the only chickens that are worth taking the time to scald and pluck because they are <4 months old when you butcher them and they are HUGE at that age.

I’ve never used any before I don’t think. But I couldn’t resist the price and MANGO LOL

And I know they’re all over New England but not sure about other states.

I am put off by the color of dark meat also. And the older the bird, the longer it lives and moves to exercise the muscles, the darker the dark meat gets. We butchered an 18-month-old tom turkey for thanksgiving and his dark meat was DARK! The dogs had a good thanksgiving. lol
