⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

:lau sorry

Have I told you guys about DB & SIL’s new house yet ??? Well, if not they got a new place up in VT near their cabin and they finally close on it a couple of weeks. They are going to move there for the winter so they wanted to know if I wanted to sublease their current place. I agreed. Still need to work out the details and everything and I’m so nervous but pretty sure it’s happening.
Sweet! So you have a few weeks to find a job to pay for everything or what?

Egg Custard cups. Preheat oven: 325*
(Use glass or ceramic custard cups: 14)
Scald and then let cool
4 1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup cream

Slowly beat (not whipped) until smooth.
10 egg yolks And 1/4 tsp salt

To yolks slowly add 1 cup plus 2 Tbs sugar. Beat until creamy thick consistency (about 4 minutes)
Now slowly add the the cooled scalded milk while continuing to beat the yolks.
Finally add 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla.

Divide into the custard cups (about 1/2 cup custard mix per serving)
Place cups in a large baking dish and add 1/2 inch of water to the baking dish.
Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Bake at 325 until firm or until a knife inserted comes out clean about 35 to 45 minutes. (My oven took 1 hour)

Well, I think that the money I have saved currently will pay for it even though it’s not a ton since it’s such a short time but I still will probably look for one since I know that money won’t last long. I’m also trying to figure out which training program to take too though if any so not sure.

Angel food cake...I found where I posted this a while back on the Balut thread.

I use a hand whip but you can use a mixer to beat the egg whites. The mixer will put more air in the cake and it will be taller than the hand whipped batter.

Use a cake pan with a center tube. Mine is square while newer ones are round.
