Did you name it Sluggo?
I can’t eat them unless it has chocolate chips! I don’t add it to the batter though, they always sink right to the bottom. Usually stay throughout the muffin better if you add them on top right before putting them in the oven.I ruined banana nut muffins for me by adding chocolate chips to the batter. Squirmy, actually.Did you name it Sluggo?
I actually found out several years after having donated that I should never have been allowed to donate. Hubs donated and was sent a letter banning him because he was in Europe during the mad cow fiasco. He was only there for three weeks. I grew up there! I was never even asked though and it never occurred to me to mention it to them in high school. I still don't know what thats all about. You are misunderstanding my post. The organizer of the blood drive was the plant nurse where I worked. She knew everyone's blood type so put particular emphasis on getting those of us with rarer blood types to participate. I did not mind donating blood but I also knew that the blood bank was far more interested in getting the more common blood types rather than the rare types. They have much more use for O+/- than they have for AB+/-. I told her about this, she asked the blood bank who confirmed what I had told her. After that she quit soliciting us rare blood types for the blood drives.
Blood may or may not undergo rigorous testing after being collected. At the time I was doing this they only asked a few select questions at the time the blood was collected.
My banana nut muffins is a thicker batter and keeps the chips and nuts well scattered throughout the muffin.I can’t eat them unless it has chocolate chips! I'm afraid to ask which thread. I haven't heard someone call me "Bubbles" in a long, long time.@BantyChooks , been catching up on an old thread.
How you doing Bubbles or is that Banti or Chicken Little. You will be Batty forever more.
I used to know a woman that didn't like chocolate. I would make the banana bread for her without chocolate chips. People that don't like chocolate are just plain weird. But she was a cutie.tried it. Not a fan of choco chips in banana nut muffins. I still haven't tried your trick of sticking a cherry in each slice either. Made banana nut bread last weekend and still nibbling on it. Not as good as the last batch. A little drier than normal. It was made with backyard bananas though.
Homemade bread tomorrow!
Then old hen and quail gumbo to go with a hot loaf. The last batch is almost gone. The weather demands gumbo!
