I finally took a semester in my senior year. Now I wish Id taken it all years

The required class for seniors at my school wasn't called home ec. I can't remember what it was called, but it taught how to balance a checkbook, had us guess what prices of things were, etc. I was so bored that I'm afraid I yawned until tears came out of my eyes. I'd been on my own for two years by that point and my mother had taught me the rest by the time I was 12.

Don't count on it. There are lots of men that don't know their way around a kitchen.
