Smoked quail is done! (yes, those are kitty paw prints on the stove. They were there this morning and I left them for the day because I thought they were cute. The cat knows darn well that he's not supposed to be on the stove...)

There was one hiding in the pile that didn't have the skin on. It wasn't as juicy and tasty as the rest of them. Still good, but not as good. I had two for breakfast.

Umm, I don't think you want to see it right now... My herd sire rabbit died of natural causes and I was looking for info/instructions on possibly preserving the skull.
