I keep mine in a north facing small bay window. It starts blooming in the fall with a full bloom around Thanksgiving, continuous light blooms throughout the winter followed by a second full bloom around Easter.

I have had first blooms in early September and last blooms as late as the first week in June.

Work, and the rest of Houston, will be shutting down on Tuesday for the annual ice celebration. This is were random groups assemble on or near the interstate overpasses and create work for tow truck drivers.

It's nice seeing the communities coming together.
