Shrike couldn't help but hear their conversation and offered her own opinion "Fire is a good Nurturer even if she hasn't had a litter of her own, if Leopard had any common sense she'd let her help raise all those pups." She spoke defensively and even had the nerve to shorten her leader's name but she didn't think herself a stupid dog and she could see Fire's worth.
Flame let her tail touch her flank to tell she heard her then directed her attention back to Ripple, ignoring her disrespect this time.
Ripple nodded and muttered, "She could learn... I suppose live and let live... Anyway, do anything interesting today other than the obvious?"
"No, other than helping take down the wildebeest."

Leopard's Bite stared coolly down at the pup "I'd think you'd be able to see much larger dogs when they're around you, better watch your surroundings more Pup."
(Soon to be Feather) shook her head, sorry but then snapped it up and growled. "I'm not just a 'pup' I'm a well run member of this Troop and I expect the same respect as so." She growled before realizing, to late, who she was speaking to.

Leopard's Bite frowned, she didn't take kindly to being told off especially by a Pup. She studied the Pup's pelt so she was sure to remember it when the time came for her to be a New-Color. "A Pup can't earn respect, you can't do anything but whine and huddle with Nurturers who I suggest you run off to now."
