Ripple nodded, “We know and while we’re there you can check them out. No point in stopping and not looking.”

Flame growled. "I know that, why do you think I picked up the pace?"

Shrike deflated a bit, she knew she was being foolish to think they hadn't known that, she was just itching to prove her use to Flame that she was being too quick to speak. She sighs "I've been to Soot Troop's camp... it's not overly interesting." She mumbled dejectedly.

Leopard's Bite glared after her, she knew as a leader she should have grabbed her by the scuff and dragged her back to camp. If the Pup is smart she'll catch up with Flame's party, if not she'll be picked off by a predator She thought coldly.
Feather padded out into the savanna gasping at its size. As she continued on she found a lion. The lion roared at her and grabbed some of its golden mane before fleeing, it quick in pursuit. She hid and the lion sat for a bit before giving up. In her spot she’s found a feather. Carrying both trophies she returned proudly.

Ripple nodded and laid his tail on her. “It’s okay, never doubt a chance.”

Flame felt a bit guilty, realizing she was being a bit rough on her. She slowed the pace a tiny bit so she could talk with her. "Listen, I know you're just excited and want to prove yourself, but trust me, I already have some respect for you, the way you fearlessly state your own opinions, that takes guts."

Shrike smiled proudly "Thanks Flame!" She then paused for a second before adding in a kind friendly tone "I guess you're not the worst dog in this pack either, definitely not as bad as some of the grouchy Patched."
