(Could someone give me a brief catch up summary?)
(Not too much has happened, Shrike is going to Splash Pack, the pups were playing, one got disgraced by Leopard's Bite while another is aiming to be a Shaman)

(Could someone give me a brief catch up summary?)
Mortem felt it. She felt the sharp, gnashing little teeth of the unsuspecting pups. They thought the Chaser she-dog was asleep, finding it fun to gnaw on her feathery, dust coated tail. Little did they know...
The she-dog lurched up, snapping her jaws viciously. The pups howled and screeched, scrambling towards their mothers frantically to avoid being snapped by the dark she-dog.
Huffing, Mortem leaned against her leg, now fully awakened by the pups. She had a bored look to her, her crimson eyes half-narrowed as she watched the Pack with little to no interest. She threw her head back, letting out a yawn of boredom, grinning as a pup let out a sharp yelp. Among the Pack she had a bad reputation with the pups and most New-Colors for being 'scary'.
It suited her, she supposed. It was better then being like her good-for-nothing brother, who waisted his time frolicking in the grasses with the young pups, and helping New-Colors.
Disgusting, she thought bitterly at the thought of her brother, a lip curling slightly, who would want to play with pups? she rolled her eyes, shaking her broad head, my idiotic brother, that's who.
She rolled lazily on her back, watching the vast, cloudless blue sky above her, watching the small birds that zipped around, chirping delightedly. She gave another huff, closing her dark colored eyes, hoping for more sleep to come.
Mortem flung herself onto her belly, laying her head on her paws and looked at Leopard's Bite boredly. "If you haven't noticed, Leopard dear, I'm resting, and I don't exactly feel like hunting and dealing with insolent little brats like the New-Color's."Leopard's Bite noticed that Mortem was just lounging around so she trotted up to the Chaser. "Mortem, you look like a dog in need of a job, why don't you lead some Chasers and New-Colors out on a hunt, grab a few Growlers too, our food is looking low." She spoke in her leader tone, she knew she wasn't really giving Mortem much of a choice as she glance around camp and sharply pointed for some dogs to join in this hunt, they all shuffled quickly towards her, ready to follow the order for a hunt.

"I took out a patrol first thing this morning," Mortem muttered tiredly, and closed her eyes, clearly not willing to leave her spot, "can you move?" She growled without opening her eyes, "you're blocking my sun."Leopard's Bite stared at her coldly, she clearly wasn't in the mood for any dog to not take her orders seriously "You haven't gone out in a while, you need to earn your keep besides the New-Colors need practice and I'm sure they'll leave you alone."

Shimmer approached Leopards Bite and growled, “I’ll go out with a hunting patrol.”
