(As long as Jaxson comes for a visit ;) )
It was late evening, and only a few customers remained. While they finished eating Artemis cleaned the tables that weren't currently being used, and made sure the condiments were filled.
(We'll see...
Hours are 7am-5pm :p just to clarify.)

Amy looked up at the clock and sighed longingly. Five minutes. Five minutes, then she could go ease her exhaustion in a warm bath. She wiped down a table almost immediately after the couple stood and left from it. Seeing only two people left, she somehow managed a little boost of energy as she went about counting cash and cleaning counters. The energy immediately left her when the door, although the sign already read 'Closed', opened and in came unexpected company.
"Oh, hi," Amy greeted him wearily. "I didn't think you would--you didn't say you could come--wh-why are you here?" She tripped her way through a jumble of a sentence as she looked confusedly at Jaxson. The way he was looking at her threw her into more confusion and she nervously brushed a strand of hair nehind her ear. Why was he staring? Or was she just thinking he was staring? She suddenly felt very self conscious and turned away to finish a table top. His quietness was beginning to irritate immensely and she finally turned and demanded an explanation. "If you've come to talk, I'm sorry but I must ask you to return tomorrow. I'm absolutely exhausted and I really can't talk with you right now."
Jaxson was at her side now and he leaned towards her ear, saying one word: "Artemis". The word left her pale but he continued, moving slowly to her other side. "That's no problem, because it's not you I've come to see," he said a little louder.

Artemis had just finished cleaning the dishes from the past day when she walked out from the kitchen. She felt her body stiffen when she met Jaxson's gaze. Both surprised that he was here and frightened by his expression she avoided him by quietly returning to the kitchen. She felt a presence follow her, and, with a sigh stopped to whisper without turning to face Jaxson: "You know, don't you?"

(pretty sure you forgot to reply to Simeon and Brooklyn post.)

Amy wished a hole would appear in the floor and just swallow her up. She closed her eyes lightly and waited for some form of reprimanding from him, but none came. Instead, he walked past her and towards the kitchen, which was absolutely worse because that's where her friend was. Before she could do anything about it, it was too late, since he had already spotted Artemis.
Jaxson stopped at the doorway of the kitchen to give Artemis some distance. "You don't think I had done overtime to be around you just to forget what you sounded like the day you left, I hope," he said quietly.

Artemis spun around, sadness spreading across her face and glistening in the depths of her eyes. "Don't think you can ever make up for what you did, helping me escape just so I could forget." Artemis stopped and closed her eyes; she liked him, and maybe that's why it was so hard to do this, but what he had done caused countless more pain than hurting his feelings ever would. "I will never forget." She vowed within a snear, opening her eyes again.

Besides being her guard while she was imprisoned, Jaxson wasn't quite sure what he had done to arouse such a response. He was taken aback a bit and he frowned in thought. Actually, he had hoped for a slightly positive response; after all, he did risk his job and life to help her escape. "May I ask what is it is that you think I try to make up for?" He asked politely. Nothing came to mind unless Amy had told her things.

Amy watched but couldn't hear the conversation as she was listening to the remaining couple's to-go order. Heavens, they were slow.

Simeon was going to ask if she wanted to do something later, but he kept his mouth shut, and got back in his car sadly.

(Time skip to when they meet again, or to when he calls?)
Brooklyn wanted to stop him from leaving, but knew they needed to return to their own lives.

(So...What's happened so far? Sorry for leaving for a bit.
