Jaxson tried to keep a blank face as he supported her. "You're not going to give her a second dose, are you??" He asked, wide eyed. It was obvious enough that the first one was giving her enough pain as it were.

Vanessa silently pleaded for him to shut up. Of course Mythe would give her more if he thought it would force questions from her.
Dr. Mythe looked to Jaxson sternly.
"Yes, I am. If she gets another dose, she only has herself to blame. She is perfectly capable of giving us information. And after this she's going to get something much worse so I hope you're not going to complain every single time." He said in a threatening tone.

(YOU'RE BOTH BABIES. While your doing math I'm learning to speak Mandarin

)
(I'm learning to speak Latin. Though I already did my homework yesterday. It's enough homework for a week but I always wait until the last minute and do it all in a day. XD)

Artemis struggled to listen to the scientist's words, having as much trouble focusing her hearing as much as her vision. "I'll never answer your questions." She said, her intentionally menacing tone masked by her unstable breathing.
"Are you sure that is the answer you want to give me?" Dr. Mythe asked, holding the needle close to her face. "Because even the guard seems worried about your well being. But I, for one, don't care if this makes you pass out."

Jaxson shook his head. "Of course not, sir," he replied. He turned his attention to Artemis, waiting for her reply.

Artemis waited until her vision momentarily cleared enough for her to see the needle that was being held out in front of her. In obvious pain, she looked straight into Myth's eyes with a look that told him her decision would not be exstinguished by any amount of pain, no matter how great.

(My school is making me learn it. And then I have to learn Greek.
THEY'RE MAKING ME LEARN ALL OF THE LANGUAGES THE WORLD DOESN'T USE.)

(That's too bad, the language I'm learning is the number one most spoken language on Earth :p)

Dr. Mythe sighed.
"Suit yourself." He gradually injected the venom into her neck, and went over to set that needle down.
"Now, I'm going to wait a few minutes before giving you anything else. While the pain is supposed to last a few hours, it doesn't take too long for its intensity to be lost. And if I give you anything that causes more pain while the original pain of the bullet ant venom is still taking its course, it could be too much for you to actually have the ability to talk."
He looked at her as he waited for her reaction to the venom.
