(It said that Bullet Ant venom's pain can last up to 24 hours ;) )
Artemis' eyes closed as the venom flowed into her veins with undefiled pain. She stumbled backwards, using her remaining strength to keep herself from falling, but her strength was dispearing quickly as she felt every muscle in her body being torn apart as both new and old venom mingled.

(Yes, it can, but the pain does dull a little.)

Dr. Mythe watched Artemis struggle with a slightly amused expression.
"I've tried this venom on myself, believe it or not. Quite painful, isn't it? Of course, I haven't had as much as you." He told Artemis with a chuckle.

Too consumed by pain, Myth's word were lost as Artemis opened her eyes. Feeling her knees about to buckle beneath her weight as she stood apart from Zaxson she looked for support. She reached out a trembling hand to support her against the wall, but blurry vision caused her to misgudge the distance, and she collapsed onto the floor only inches from the wall.

Dr. Mythe watched her fall onto the floor, and felt some satisfaction knowing that it would probably be rather humiliating for her ego.
"Pain is an odd thing, isn't it? It's not killing you, but it still manages to distract all of your senses." Dr. Mythe said and sighed. "Though, you're probably not listening to me at all. Now come on, get up." He knew that getting up would make this experience even less desirable for her, because pain took away so much stamina, so of course making her stand was the best option.
Grabbing Artemis's arm, Dr. Mythe yanked her up and had her lean against the wall.

(Thomas would be a really good PE teacher.)

Artemis began to struggle to her feet with great effort despite her lack of strength. She drew in a sharp breath at the scientists unexpected action, groaning as he forced her to the wall, eyes wide in sudden fear.

As much as she wanted to, Vanessa couldn't draw her eyes away. She felt bad just standing there, watching Artemis writhing in pain, but there was nothing she could do to help her. So she continued staring, observing and taking mental notes.

Jaxson was forced to back away when Dr. Mythe moved to yank Artemis up. He watched helplessly from a few feet away.
 
"You killed my father, my mother and my brother this way." Artemis choked her throat swelling with overdose of venom. "I will not be afraid to die as they have." She told Mythe.
