"How about we send her back to her cell and bring her in again tomorrow for more questions," Vanessa suggested. She quickly added, "and more venom, if necessary. Maybe the guard can get some info out of her."

Dr. Mythe thought about it for a few moments.
"Well, alright. Might as well, she's obviously not going to say anything today. And I've wasted enough time already." He said with a sigh.

Lauren sat down in the park.She watched the ducks as they slowly swam down the river.

Artemis released an unsteady breath in relief, letting her eyes momentarily close since she had been fighting to clear her vision for so long her head had begun to ache in effort. When she opened them she found her eyes having a harder time adjusting to the light after having been closed. Another wave of more intense pain washed over Artemis, causing her to moan in agony.

Vanessa tried not to look too pleased with his consent. "Very good. Jaxson, get her up," she said briskly. "We'll get her out of your way so you can clean up and move to more important things."

Jaxson went to Artemis' side to help her up from the floor.
