Artemis finished gathering everyone's orders and went to the kitchen where she found Amy and informed her of all the orders. "There's one more thing," She stated less professionally, "Jaxson's here." She then turned away. "Again." Artemis sighed as she exited the room.

Brooklyn disapeared to the bathroom where she softly shut the door and made a phone call. Much fear over the safety of her Mira friends kept her from contacting or even mentioning them while in Simeon's presence. But now, she more concerned about whether the C.M.I. was able to trace her dispearance back to the secret hidaway of the Mira than Simeon's opinion of them.

Simeon reasoned to himself "There's no way they will find us. They didn't even know what car I owned. It's impossible."

Brooklyn left the bathroom quietly, and seated herself at the edge of the bed, hoping Simeon hadn't noticed her odd disappearance.

"Oh?" Amy feigned disinterest as she took her sweet time finishing up the dishes. "I guess I should go talk to him. Muffins just came out, new round of mugs are washed and dried, all that needs to be done is get table 2's lattes and 3's black coffee and a muffin. Can you..?" She looked hopefully at Artemis.

Artemis sighed, and agreed, finally, to help her friend. She hadn't been fooled by Amy seeming disinterested in Jaxson's company, but agreed despite her dislike of him to help her friend since she was eager to see him.
