And if you are buying an incubator, I would suggest forced air. They are easier to hatch with and to get stable.Thank you it was very helpful
This is where you will get a millions answers. I bought 2 Farm Innovator 4250's. I have 90%+ hatch rates. Some people do not like the brand, but I really love it. It is a styrofoam incubator so it retains the heat better. Hard plastic incubators have a harder time keeping stable unless you buy an expensive brand like Brinsea (the are probably one of the best hard plastic incubators).I think that I will just buy one, does anybody have suggestions on what I should do
I would suggest getting one that is large if you plan on incubating a lot of eggs. I try to fill up the incubator when I start a hatch because it keeps the temperature/humidity more stable than if you put about 10 eggs in a 42 egg incubator. You want to fill them as much as possible so that it is even throughout.Would you suggest getting multiple smaller ones or one big one
This is what I figured I was going to save 50 eggs and hatch them, and if I am lucky 40 would hatch and 5 would have fixable problems and maybe 4 will die after hatchingI would suggest getting one that is large if you plan on incubating a lot of eggs. So you would need an incubator that fits 50 eggs, if 50 is your starting number. This is what I figured I was going to save 50 eggs and hatch them, and if I am lucky 40 would hatch and 5 would have fixable problems and maybe 4 will die after hatching
Yes I will/Yes it isSo you would need an incubator that fits 50 eggs, if 50 is your starting number.
So you just need to find an incubator that fits that amount. My Farm Innovator 4250 fits 42 eggs.Yes I will/Yes it is
I have to do it or else I will feel like a procrastinator
