🐕 Golden Retriever Chat 🐕

Reactiveness never goes away.
If it just started back up though is he in pain?
If she went over his boundary and he didnt like it any dog would.
I personally don't believe that, uncommon maybe, but I think it is possible. Chase never reacts in fear anymore. He will startle sometimes and act kind of nervy, but he never barks at people when we are out anymore. I did consider that he was in pain, but I don't know. It is a possibility. I guess it upset me more because I was completely taken by surprise and the fact that he didn't act like it was out of fear, he acted like he simply didn't want her to mess with him.

Dogs will always have that reactivity. They may not react anymore but its still there. He will still be nervous
I have heard many times that is very rare for a dog to actually physically protect their owners
To me its not rare if someone where to come at me i knoe Tucker would protect me. And Denver would to.
Would i ever want them to no. But they also know hoe to set of warning signs first

Chase helped me carry stuff to the dumpster
