🐝💗Our Backyard Beekeeping Journey!💗🐝

I hope it's profitable for you and stays enjoyable.
I really want to keep it to 3 or even just 2 hives and a resource hive. 4 full hives was more than we wanted.
Here's hoping to a good overwinter for all of us here. 💗🐝
Not so much concerned with profit, just bee equipment, maintenance of, and bee health. I may sell one split to the couple we're helping. They wanted to buy the split this past spring. From what I know there are only 5 hives in a 5 mile radius, our 3, the couple we are helping and 1 on the main drag in the front yard. I suspect this one is a lawn ornament because there is maybe an 8'x8' piece rotovated ground around it for possibly a flower bed. Pretty expensive center piece for a flower bed though.

Yup. But not many people will know if there are actually bees in there. So if the bees don't survive, they can just leave it there anyway. Paint it every now and then to keep it looking new.
 SMH

Maybe get lucky and get a swarm, looks like wax dipped leaving that natural wood look.

Checked the hives, I won't need to add syrup today.

Just waiting for the extracting room to warm up.

Busy girls this morning.
