Hubs set the empty frames out for the bees to clean up. He took a video for me to share.

Like watching the cloud of bees on clean up. usually takes 'em 3 -4 days when I set all 6 mediums on the shooting bench.Hubs set the empty frames out for the bees to clean up. He took a video for me to share.
I'm not close to wrapping, day temps in the mid to high 60s, night temps 40F to 45F. mid afternoon flying still heavy. Taking syrup but not as much. All 3 hives are heavy with stores. End of the month I'll make up the solid sugar blocks so they're ready for mid November or so. Do have reducers and mouse guards installed though. We're getting close to this step.
I put my supers back on the hives for cleanup. Usually takes them one or two days for it.Like watching the cloud of bees on clean up. usually takes 'em 3 -4 days when I set all 6 mediums on the shooting bench.
My husband said he thought about doing that, but was feeling too lazy to do it that way...lol We're still playing catch up around here. Inside and out.I put my supers back on the hives for cleanup. Usually takes them one or two days for it.

I'll do this if the flow is strong in the spring, fall clean up is out side, all the wax chips fall on the table, not on the bottom board for me to scrape out.I put my supers back on the hives for cleanup. Usually takes them one or two days for it.
I never see the bottom board in healthy hives. The only time I see the bottom board is when I am cleaning out a hive after the loss of the bees or setting up a new hive.I'll do this if the flow is strong in the spring, fall clean up is out side, all the wax chips fall on the table, not on the bottom board for me to scrape out.
