This month has been so crazy with work and traveling and whatnot! I haven’t even thought about Halloween, really. But when I get back home on Friday, that’ll be a different story…

On that note, any ideas for last-minute, buy-nothing costumes?

You can buy a bunch of glow sticks and a full black body suit and glue the glow sticks on where bones would be for a glow in the dark skeleton! My mom did that last year.

To better explain it, you take a full body suit (a black one) and hot glue the glow sticks onto the suit. If you only glue a little spot, like the middle of the glow stick, you can crack it whenever you need!

You could potentially do the glow stick thing and make fantasy animal outlines.

Also you can where a red cap and be a witch.

I am actually so excited! This year I am doing a group costume with 3(ish) of my friends! (The "ish" is because one is not doing the whole thing, just part) We're all being fairies, each a different type. I'm a luna moth, one is a rose, one is a tulip, and one is a mushroom. It should be really fun!

Other then that I am helping host a trunk-or-treat at the local elementary school, and I have to have my costume done by then.
The dress is ordered and is arriving tomorrow, all I have to do is sew the wings together.

Ok, the dress has arrived! It's super pretty and a beautiful teal color that matches the fabric I'm making the wings out of.
