Very good gravy but disappointing to me. Mother made wonderful lumpy gravy. I have to work really hard at it to get any lumps.

Today my extra will be searching for our favorite Silkie hen. She's gone without a trace, I suspect a raptor got her yesterday afternoon, I saw her earlier on in the day. I usually do a headcount when I lock up the coops, but I was in a rush last night. Why is it always the favorites that seem to be targeted? I'm trying to figure how to tell my kids, my oldest child hand raised that bird and even treated it for a mild case of bumble foot after the rainy season last year. She's going to be devastated. They know it's part of keeping birds and free ranging, but it still really sucks.

Cleaned the kitchen, cooked and ate breakfast, started laundry……next is workout and folding laundry. Hopefully it will warm up a bit outside and I can move feed to the shed, clean up dog poo and garbage, feed the critters and start working on organizing/installing parts before starting dinner. Another Sunday Funday

Storm moving NW so expected to have some light snow and wintry mix starting next hour so need to get critters taken care of and probably all that will get done outside today

I was going to do extra today but I simply didn't feel like it. There is a reason I can't lose weight, well, more than one reason I guess

Yes I did because I wanted a big group.
I invited everyone so that we can all be together instead of just 10 ppl.
