Dawg have you been diagnosed with high/low blood sugar or pre diabetic? Or are we just going off your symptoms here?
Kind of both I think? I’ve had symptoms and stuff even before but then this latest blood test was officially into diabetic 😬 Before that I’ve been prediabetic for like a few years but it’s been climbing every year and then this last year and the year before I went back to eating bad, actually way worse than I ever had before even when I was eating bad before, soooo yeahhh. I knew it was probably bad as did my dad and his friend so we got in sooner. I went a couple weeks ago. It actually climbed even just since March (last time I went) into it

Most insurances will cover the diabetes classes.
It took a long time for my mom to figure out what she could and couldn't eat and how often she needed to eat.
She is one of those that truly does get sick if she does not eat on a regular basis.
And she's a skinny diabetic, has more trouble keeping weight on then keeping it off.
One of the biggest things for her but it's learning she had to balance her carbohydrates with protein. She was never a big meat, egg, cheese or nut eater.
So that was hard for her.

Yeah I’ve noticed if I eat mostly carbs or sugar or like when I was getting fast food, I would be starving not that long after. Versus when I eat protein and cheese and all that stuff, then I’m full for forever hahah

So what does your doctor suggest that you do?
Next time you see your doctor why don't you ask if they could recommend a dietitian for you.
Find out if your insurance would cover those classes they may even cover a dietitian for a certain amount of time.
A medical doctor is only going to do so much for you. You will have to take the initiative and be proactive seeking out support.
