Got another one to add. My chicken that laid the two tailed eggs had another surprise for me this week. A little leathery sphere.

Hmm, I wonder what's inside? Oh, it's....another leathery blob.

And continuing on, it's all egg white. So I guess this would be a nested shell-less fart egg.

I had a older hen lay an egg with scrambled yolk and a blob instead of egg white


also got a rubber egg from a new layer but it broke

Do tiny cute eggs count as weird? Two eggs from the same chicken laid a day apart.

The blue egg on the left got an "extra spray" of blue on the way out! Poor picture, but it was a shocking neon blue, very cool!

We also have a BCM that lays every 2-3 days that always lays the oddest shaped eggs, flat on one side, short and squatty looking...and very lop-sided! They are always so fun to find!

The hen who laid the xl egg is still going strong at 3 yrs of age. She was rehomed last year, along with 3 of her daughters and her mother. Her eggs always hatched female chicks, but they had to be assisted to hatch.

The girl who laid this blue one died last year. She was around 4, and did this often.

The next egg was from her daughter. She was rehomed last year also. Wish I would have kept her, she was a sweet girl, and a consistent layer. She went to a good home though.

This was a weird one laid by Safaia. It was a double yolked, and soft/rubber shelled. Can’t imagine what it felt like to have that come out!
