1-2 month old chick having trouble walking after getting stepped on??

I am sorry for your loss.
Thankfully Cocci is easily fixable!
Being crushed is not so easily fixable.
Thanks for the update.

Make sure you treat with proper doses and for a full 7 days.

I will. Thank you for advice and checking in my girls.
This is my first flock so everything is such a learning experience and this was just a very tough lesson in learning the symptoms of illness and treating them quickly!!

I'm gonna let ya know....every single time it's a learning experience, at the cost of the chicken being experimented on to save it's life....and none of us have a 100% cure/fix rate. Even knowing certain illnesses, you don't always catch in time (chickens are very good at hiding being sick until its in the "emergency" moment), and sometimes you know exactly whats wrong and still they die. Sometimes the symptoms can be of a few different things and you wonder what to treat with. I.cry.every.single.time. But I try. I don't want any of my animals suffering or not feeling good. I try to learn with each new thing but still there have been mysteries. Though some states do necropsies for free, they are close to $250 here. Truly sorry for your baby not making it. *hugs* :hugs
