1/2" or 1/4" hardware cloth for the run?

Hubby is on the way to the store. Is 1/2" too large of squares for the run or should we go with 1/4" hardware cloth?

1/2 " should be fine.

When I made the swinging covers for my windows, I used 1/4-inch hardware cloth because I wanted to be SURE that no snake could get into the coops. When I made my run, I used all 1/2-inch hardware cloth. See photos in " My BYC Page" under my picture.
