1 month old chick HATES diaper!!!

This is an old thread but meat chickens can live a long and happy life on a restricted diet.

If always on one, any diet won't do anything if they're at dispatch age already

edit: I can see rescuing one to prevent it being fed to a snake but keeping one inside and forcing it to wear a diaper is a a mistake .
I couldn't in good conscience watch one stay curled up in a ball knowing they don't live long anyway. I didn't realize this was an old post

I had one for over 6 good years. I'm glad she got to live a life.

I started after a few months of having her when I learned about her breed. I got her from a live meat market when she already had feathers but was still peeping.

.. but since I’ve started putting it on her, she just sits like a lump and sleeps CONSTANTLY when she wears it.. ...

= signs of stress.
