Ok! It's been a month. We are anxious to know what gender our Buff Orpingtons and Barred Rocks are!

Is it too early to tell if my Eagle is a hen or a roo?

And what about Honey?

And then Pepper?

Thanks for any help!

Combs will turn pink than red generally by 5-8 weeks on most breeds if they are males.
We're not allowed to have roos in the city, so girls would be wonderful! We are raising 15 and will keep 6. One Buff seems double the size and darker than the others and I'm thinking that might be a roo?

We're so new to all of this!

In buff Orpingtons the males will usually feather out slower than the females. The one pictured above I'd guess female because it's well feathered.
