Hello there,
I looked at similar threads, but didn't find what i thought I need. My 2 year old Silver-Laced Wyandotte looks totally healthy, but only laid about 6 eggs after winter and no more. My other two hens (Americana and Black Maran) are laying normal: 5-6 eggs a week. SLWyandotte only laid about 3-4 a week when she was laying. But nothing now. She's the healthiest of three to look at her feathers and watch her walk, peck at worms and turn over leaves and such. They get oyster shells and organic soy free feed. I haven't been watching to see her poo. She is the broodiest of the three and likes to sit on eggs. But hasn't been laying. We live in Portland, OR, so weather is wet and dry (a nice spring). I picked her up and turned her over, but actually didn't know what to look for.
Thoughts? Thank you.

I think it sounds like her broodyness and hormones may be the main cause of your problem. Have you considered buying a couple fertilized eggs or a new chick to put under her?
