I read somewhere that someone was giving there chicks sand for grit...I've been giving my chicks a few worms here and there and so I put some sand in there. It seems to disappear so I assume they are eating it. Is this bad cuz I starting thinking maybe it will clog em up.? Any Advice??

Chickens are amazing, in that they will usually eat what they need if available. Sand is not bad for them and I assume they need it or they would not eat it. If you think they might be taking to much, you can place a bit in a separate container for them and take it out later on. I had one girl that would eat lots of sand and the others ate none. Both were fine and laid equal numbers of eggs when the time came. I just had to trust that the one needed more than the others.
