So we hatched out some chicks for the first time. They were born last weekend so just a day or so shy of 1 week. I just got home from work and checked on them. This one chick has it's eyes closed, is laying on it's side with it's feet straight out and is gasping for breath. They are in a small plastic tub so the entire thing is rather warm but this chick was furthest from the light. It was a bit cold so we placed it into the incubator at 100 degrees. Anything else we can do????? No injures that we see.
