1 yr chicken anniversary!

one year ago today I bought my first 4 chicks from a feed store-I have officially been a proud chicken owner for one whole year! I truly love my chickens and went from 4 to 16 since then!
Here they are just plopping themselves on the ground for a nap

And this was when roosting became the new thing to do:

And here they are all grown up:

they all knew they we getting their picture taken

I did literally LOL when viewing the first "grown up" photograph. All the pictures are adorable! That one shot is definitely a stink-eye moment, though.....

You have a very nice and beautiful bunch there and you made me laugh when you wrote you started out with 4 and you are up to 16 now, your signature even states 17. Yes, chickens are like potato chips, you cannot have just one.......

we just celebrated our chickens first "birthday" a couple months ago. we got a couple in the middle of march and some in the middle of april, so i decided April 1st would be their "Birthday" lol
