It's natural for polish to get ingeries easy so you have to watch her and keep her safe from air prediters they are very valnuerable to be attacked it is a hen btw

Oh the poor girl!!

This would be a female Gold Laced/Golden polish.

Looks bearded from what i've seen.

The back of her head needs LOTS of care!!

Keep it CLEAN, and apply neosporin/coconut oil daily.

Make sure that she does not act lethargic, or tired, as this could mean she may have a head injury. Drooling is also a sign of head injury, so watch for that.

she should be walking and pecking like a normal chicken, scritchy scratchy, peck peck peck.

is she pretty antsy? I recomend keeping her inside the house w=till that wound heals and her feathers begin to crow back.

Thank you. She's been acting normal even right after it happened. It looks better today. I'm putting antibiotics on it and watching it close. This is 24 hrs later

We have one of these but she's only two weeks. So beautiful!

Please be very careful if she is outside , and you have warm weather. If flies lay eggs in her wound, she will be swimming in maggots. They are horrendous to deal with.
