10 day old RIR

We hatched out this RIR chick and I was reading about trying to sex them early. I know it's a long shot and usually wait until much older but wasn't sure if anyone had any opinions?! Hen or roo? Her mom is RIR and dad is Easter egger.

Not in any way an expert, but if I had to guess, I’d say hen. The wings are pretty long, like body length, and already getting tail feathers too. I mean, they can trick ya but I’d say hen if you wanted a guess

Feather sexing only works when specifically bread for that: 1 parent slow feather, other fast feathering.

Is the chick a RIR mixed with something else? The chick has a lot of fuzz around the face area, possibly have a muff or beard.
I would say it's kinda too soon to tell the gender. Maybe wait a few weeks and please post again!

The yellow legs are making me think roo according to some other threads but I'm no expert or even close so idk for sure.

O yes lol! I honestly wouldn't mind if it was a Roo. He isn't the nicest roo and just all of a sudden started coming after me. He's got me a few times. So I wanted to experiment and hatch some eggs from him before we got rid of him. We didn't raise him as a chick so I'm hoping if we raise from chick, we can get a nice rooster!
