10 months 3 1/2 weeks old FIRST EGG!

AMAZING but true, my little red leghorn! laid her first perfect little white egg today! I NEVER thought she was going to lay! She even managed to get it into one of the next boxes!
cute white little pullet egg! Yahoo.

AGREED I feel like I waited forever! Her hatchmates all started laying in July and August.
she is so cute and very sweet, it was worth the wait.
