10 reasons he may not ask you out again - A Guys Perspective

I will just keep my thoughts to myself in case I have to moderate this thread later.

But I agree with Debi and Crusty.

I'm an old fashioned girl, so if I'm asked on a date, I expect the man to pick up the check. On the other hand, I won't order the most expensive item on the menu or order expensive drinks. I do really like dessert, though...

I was asking my DS who he wanted to ask to the homecoming dance that's coming up. I suggested one of his friends that he's known forever and he said "she would just spend the whole night texting her boyfriend (who's away at college)" I was like "REALLY? she doesn't seem the type to be so rude." He said "Yeah, I had two friends who asked her to dances last year and they said thats what she did all night" I can't imagine anyone doing that. I guess it's a new age.

And who do you expect to pay if the woman asks the man out?

**edited to keep it civil**

If a woman asks a guy out then she should pay. But I personally would never ask a guy out. EVER.

Which is pretty much what I'm doing. Dating in your 40s completely stinks.

The paying thing is very awkward. I guess I always go by the rule of whoever does the asking does the paying. Or I offer to leave the tip. Truthfully, I'd just as soon skip the whole problem and curl up on the sofa with a pizza and my cats (and dogs and chickens) while wearing my purple pajamas.

(well, maybe not the chickens... they'd be in the brooder...)
