10 week Araucanas - please tell me I have some pullets!?

I've never trimed a hens beak only roos

Well commercialy it is done to make sure none of the chicks peck each other. Keep in mind the chicks are probably pretty cramed. Not sure where these guys were bought from though.

Ok that makes sense ( albeit sad sense for commercial hens). I only have a couple of year old hens and some baby pullets and only 1 hen pecks me if I don't bring greens with me into the pen. Didn't seem like her beak could cause any damage - never hear of people raising fighting hens!

The lady I bought them off of didn't mention why she trimmed their beaks - and I'm new to having chickens so I didn't know at the time that it was odd until I looked it up a few days ago....
As for a lot of you saying that they are EE's and not true Araucanas, are EE's classified by colouring? And if so, does anyone know what my 3 would be classified as?

Nope, no classification. You can classify them as whatever you want! Last year, I remember a bunch of people getting some with blue laced red parentage, beautiful birds, and they called them that, blue laced red EE's. So, you can figure a color they are close to and call them that. I just call mine brown fluffy face and red fluffy face

So, do all Amerecaunas/Easter Eggers have the fluffy face? I have one hen that was called an Amerecauna, and she doesn't have a fluffy face. The other does have the face feathers and was labelled an Easter Egger. Their eggs look identical except one hen's are a tiny bit bigger. I wonder what my non-fluffy face would be? Sorry, can't get the pics in the right order. The two of the brown hen are the Easter Egger, and the hen on the right in the outside pic is the Amerecauna.

Ameraucana and Araucanas are separate breeds with a standard, with "limitations" on various traits including color.

Easter eggers are not a breed and have no standard so really, anything goes for them- as long as colored eggs are the goal. (in amers and araucanas, only blue eggs are ideal. any other color especially tan or white would be frowned upon)

The problem with EE is due to a lot of them having a certain general look(kind of like amers)- shortish tails, muffs blue or green legs and very few being solid colored- most being very stripy/speckled, a lot of people expect any EE to have several of those typical traits and may object to a bird without a beard (but does lay green or blue eggs) being called an EE... but again they are not a breed.
