Okay so I have a batch of chicks. Some RIR's, Brahmas, Ameraucanas and a White Leghorn. We got them from two different places as one supplier suddenly was out of RIR'S we had requested and paid for. A Light Brahma, Dark Brahma, two Ameraucanas, a RIR and the White Leghorn have all died. However, primarily they've been dying one to two weeks apart. Here we go again with another Dark Brahma! They look very sleepy at first. They just nestle in the bedding of the coop. One eye or both eyes shut. Their balance or gait becomes affected minimally. They start curling their necks. Eventually they end up on their side and the last time we had one die it was a very long process. Why every one to two weeks are we slowly losing our flock? What is this and how can we stop it? Can we stop it?? Any suggestions are appreciated. #feelingfrustrated
