10 weeks old black australorp baby chick - which gender?

An Australorp specialist told me it was a cockerel, and he was sure about it. If it were a pullet, the saddle feathers would stop immediately and be rounded. Here, they are quite long, and pointed down to the ground, which is a particularity of a cockerel.

What's an australorp specialist?
Those are called saddle and hackle feathers, but they don't appear until 13ish weeks. The comb says boy.

Specialist means raising and selecting Australorps for many years. As if they don't clearly appear now, it seems that they shouldn't be shaped like that.

A professional breeder. Ok. I'm sorry but I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. This is an older thread so ops bird has been identified already. The bird was 10 weeks at the time of this post and is clearly male by comb development. yes, the saddles and hackles are sure signs of gender but this bird is too young in the photo to have them.

No, the professional breeder told me from these photos. I can send you new pictures if you want?

I’m a little confused by the bold text. This thread isn’t very old, and you are talking to the OP. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Here are the last pictures from the chick
