I cannot fathom meaties in the house..
That is worrying, lol. We always brood our chicks in the dining room, but we've never had meaties before. We don't have a garage, only a carport. Eeek.

do this. Meaties in the house might work for a week or so, but trust me, you'll want them out before much longer than that.If you have electric in your barn, you can brood them right in the same pen they will be living in/out of.

Just as babies. The ones we have now we moved outside at about four or five weeks. Figured since these are bigger we could move out at two to three weeks. Is that not good? It'll be Jersey Giants and Light Brahmas, not the Cornish X. I guess we could put them in the hen house. There is electric in there.
