100% hatch from cherndon712 silkies

I also just drove to Alan Stanfords and picked up 6 little silkies 4 blue and 2 splash.

I can't BELIEVE you got a 100% hatch from my eggs!!! That is just plain AWESOME!!! I've never had that with shipped eggs, even with broodies!!! Thanks for posting pics!!

I"ve never heard of it either, we are really excited. We have a sportsman, which I think helps us over the syrofoams. I usually get more then half hatch out of shipped eggs, but never 100% !!!!!!!

One of the chicks has a bad leg. I'm not sure what is wrong it just keeps it lifted up in the air. I thought maybe it pulled it someone. Of course it is my daughters favorite, she always has the
"hurt" one .

I"ve had lots of 100% hatchs from my own Bantam Ameraucana eggs, but NEVER from shippped eggs. I usually figure if half of them hatch I"m lucky. I did have pheasant eggs in there, so far no babies, thought last night on had a very small peep in it, but it hasn't done anyting more by this morning, Does anyone know if they take longer to hatch. ??

Alans birds are more beautiful in person then on his web site. We all fell in Love . My youngest daughter didn't want to leave. All the way home my grandson kept asking where was his silkies. I gave him some I hatched,once we got home I wasn't giving him Alans chicks. LOL !!! So he has 2 little buffs, and his mom says every morning went he gets up , he has to check on HIS Silkies. !!!
