We are talking about 100% hatch rates. If you want to buy $10 eggs and get a 5% hatch by all means buy old eggs. Published studies show turkey hatch rates start to plummet at 7 days at 60 deg. I too have hatched 20 day old eggs but had to throw over half of them out in the process and that was on a turner at proper temperature. I only hatch 90 peachicks per year and ship about 40 peafowl eggs. I would love to hear from someone here that got 90-100% hatch on 8 day old SHIPPED eggs because I am doing something wrong if they can. I only get those percentages at home on 5 day old 58deg on turner.
