Well, it was hard to pick a favorite, but I did choose the most personable pullet, Matilda. She's always in the lead when they run to me, she tells me chicken stories all the time, and she is the most curious of the flock.

She's a gorgoeus Black Sexlink pullet whose dad is my RIR roo Rusty and whose mom is Pepper (one of my BR hen's).

Okay, here is my Silver Cuckoo Marans rooster. His name is Mystery and he is a wonderful boy, so good to his girls, and so gentle around people. My 10 year old daughter loves to just grab him and hug him, and he lets her!

He follows us around the yard because he knows that mommy will always have a treat for him and the ladies, lol!

Here's some pics of my Sexlink hens. I LOVE these girls!!!

They are so sweet! These girls know how to knock on the door, and when you open the door, they let themselves in, head into the kitchen where they look for any bits of food on the floor (which is usually what we toss down to them as they are searching), then they walk through the house looking for the cat's water bowl where they help themselves, then they look around for possible treats, and then head back to the door and wait to let back out. Everyone in the house loves these girls. They have the best personalities and are super sweet.
