100 YEAR OLD DUCK EGGS!! Pictures.....

I'm half Philipino, and balut isn't bad at all! Pretty good actually, once you get past the look and texture. But rotten duck eggs? Even if it tastes good, I'll pass...

I think cultures call stuff that they want to get rid of a "delicacy" to try to get people to eat it!

Exactly. You don't see a lot of the Colorado Natives eating Rocky Mountain Oysters. We just torture tourists with them

Escargot is a certain type of snail and it is cooked (key word here) in butter and garlic. It is really delicious. Now calamari on the other hand, tastes like deep fried rubber bands.

i LOVE calamari... but there are certain places to get it. olive garden is the only place that i have found that makes awesome calamari!!

The eggs are not actually black, they are more of a brownish color. I am assuming from the tea they soak them in. The texture is like jello. But, I have no idea why they smell like ammonia????

My Boss brought them to me last night. He is always trying to get me to eat all kinds of things. He buys his stuff from an Asian Store in Missouri. He brought me crickets soaked in Soy Sauce. I wouldn't eat those either. So, he brought me a can of caterpillars, they looked like maggots in the picture on the can.

I couldn't imagine eating chicken feet either. Or any other kind of feet!!

I think I'll stick to fried chicken

Now I might try those, if they were fried!

We eat these on occasion. For a while I had them as my avatar, but they were wigging people out.
